Well, that should already be implemented:
1. e-mails sent to the users are sent out with system e-mail address
(i.e. you uploaded a file).
2. e-mails sent via openupload for some destination use the e-mail of
the user if specified (or available) (i.e. an upload is ready for you)
If it's not working like that please report.
