Changing the code got me in and on my way.
I don't think so. After I got everything working, I changed the code back to the original and everything seems to be functioning properly. It is possible I could have done something wrong in the original install(s). I did a number of them and kept getting that IP Ban error until I changed the code. I ran the install again and got in and then changed the code back. Now all is working so far.

just to be sure. Are you somehow obfuscating your IP? I sometime get a 
"unknown" ip from the server and was wondering if this is the case. So 
there's should be a default rule for the unknown IPs.
