Hi Michael,
for the e-mail probably you should check your php installation as Open 
Upload uses the "mail" function provided by php.

As of a list of files uploaded by the user it is not implemented.
And I'm not sure it's really needed.
If you are interested in it please fill in a Feature request [1]
so I won't forget it :)
