#30 US 8949 cost basis reported as negative number on autofill
The amount reported in the US 1040 GUI under Cap-Gains BuyCost (Capital Gains/Losses) is autofilled to the Form 8949 PDF as a negative number in column e. (From looking at the text output, it seems all costs are considered negative numbers.) However, since this column is listed as a "cost," it seems like it should be non-negative.
Same issue with column e on Schedule D. Schedule D lines 14 and 21 should also probably be non-negative, as they're enclosed in parentheses and labeled losses.
