Hi guys: I'm working on supporting a new platform for OpenTag. It is MSP430F5+CC1101, which obviously is not too much different than a CC430.
I am using this board from TI:
This series of MSP430 has integrated USB, so if you are building light gateways using the CC430 + a USB converter, you might be interested. The F5529 has more Flash and SRAM than the CC430 does, so potentially you could load-on a large application.
The board is a little bit expensive, but it does include a built-in FET, as well as direct interfacing ability to ez430 devices. So, if you are using ez430 devices, it might also be appealing.
During the next week I will be getting USB MPipe running on this device, and also (hopefully) the CC1101 driver. I don't have plans yet for the LCD screen, but having it there tempts me to put in some easter eggs. Asteroids?
