The important question is what to you want to do? OpenSync is a
synchronization engine where OpenSync (here the msynctool) is the
master. So you run two masters and wonder why this does not work ;)
If I understand your use case correctly then PC-1 is the place were the
sync master should run and you have three clients - the mobile, PC-2 and
the file system of PC-1. You can synchronize in three ways:
1. all stuff handled by OpenSync
- msynctool on PC-1
- file-sync plugin (for fs of PC-1)
- syncml-plugin for the mobile
- syncml-http-plugin for PC-2
- syncml client like funambol on PC-2
2. conventional setup
- msynctool on PC-1
- file-sync plugin (for fs of PC-1)
- syncml-plugin for the mobile
- rsync between PC-1 and PC-2
PC-2 looks for me like a normal client and PC-1 looks like the real sync
master.
Best regards
