[Opensync-users] File sync like unison or rsync

Hi,

I want to know if openSync if a good alternative to rsync or unison 
software. This two softwares include a special algorithm that minimize 
the amount of data to be transfer when syncing via a limited bandwidth 
connection.

opensync's file plugin is like unison. Although, be careful. Unison has
had a very long time to develop and get things right.

No. The purpose of OpenSync and rsync if different.
OpenSync does some kind of "logical" syncing of data
were rsync (and co) do a sync based on files.

 From my understanding OpenSync does not try to reduce
the amount of transfered data.
