[Opensync-users] Announce: SyncML client plugin

I have started a project to create a SyncML client plugin based on the 
Funambol C++ API. At this point I have been able to sync contacts to the 
sync4j server at www.scheduleworld.com, so I think it'a about time to 
let all know what's going on.

The project is really two things: a port of the Funambol C++ API to 
Linux, and a plugin. Both can be found on 
http://hem.bredband.net/miko22. Brave users (no others!) are encouraged 
to test it. Don't feed with anything else than vcards for now!

Would i be possible to host this on the same server as the other plugins?

PS Why yet another SyncML plugin? Actually, I been thinking quite a lot 
about this, but this is not the place to expand those ideas... DS

That's really good news! I was tempted to start something like this on my own,
but i didn't manage to do this because of lacking time. But if help is needed
maybe i can do some stuff...

I'll try to make this work this evening, maybe we can make use of this to sync
multiple mobile devices. Maybe i manage to create packages for Familar or maemo :-)

Are you aware that I have already done that for the 3.x branch of the
C++ API? I use it for a stand-alone Evolution sync client which is
quite usable already:
   http://sourceforge.net/projects/sync4jevolution

The 0.2 source tar ball contains the full client C++ library source
code with some fixes which I haven't checked into Funambol's
CVS because the head revision there is currently undergoing some
changes.
