Hello Vijay,
Thanks for your interest in OpenSync. Concerning the UI, you have the command
line tool (osynctool) which works fine and two GUI's, multisync and
kitchensync. Please refer to this page for the latest development version:
http://www.opensync.org/wiki/trunk/installation/checkout
Concerning the next stable version, I can't give you a concrete answer. I've
been part of the team since last summer and even though we have worked pretty
hard on different parts of the project (Kitchensync, akonadi plugin,
gammu/gnokii plugins amongs others), the core has not progressed and is still
blocking with issues in the slow sync and the syncml plugin which is
completely broken. It seems that the main developers are not actively working
an a stable version of OpenSync and since the beginning of this year the
development is completely frozen: http://www.opensync.org/timeline
Don't hesitate to further inquire about the stable version, you are one of the
many disappointed (former?) opensync users... We hope to clear things up for a
brighter future.
Kind regards,
Quentin Denis
