I had this error just yesterday, and for me it was because I was
building on a 64-bit system. All your cmake calls need a
"-DLIB_SUFFIX=64" flag tacked on, i.e.
cmake -DLIB_SUFFIX=64 -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$OPENSYNC_BUILD ../
I edited the wiki page to reflect this:

You should probably also do "export LIBSUFFIX=lib64".
If you're not on 64-bit, well then I dunno what the problem is. =)
