Aymerick Jehanne agreed to use LGPL v2.1 as licence for all parts of the
code. The change was performed with r331. The files !ChangeLog and THANKS
were modified accordingly.
I don't release a new version because the ticket was flagged as "nice-to-
have".
If you would like to have a fresh release then please open the ticket
again or send me an email.

While packaging version 0.11.0, I found tools/xml2wbxml_tool.c refers to
FSF postal address:
{{{
* You should have received a copy of the GNU General Public License
* along with this program; if not, write to the Free Software
* Foundation, Inc., 59 Temple Place, Suite 330, Boston, MA 02111-1307

}}}
The problem is the FSF has moved as you can see on
<http://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.txt>:
{{{
51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1301 USA
}}}
Please update the license wording to deliver correct information to your
users.
Also consider adding GNU GPLv2 license text into source tar ball as it
contains text of LGPLv2.1 only and tools/xml2wbxml_tool.c is covered by
GPLv2+ license.

Comment (by boazy):
Some of the changes in 0.11.0 are already integrated in our product
(everything that was submitted to you by Amnon actually came from a from a
private fork he maintained which we were using), so I consider these
changes well tested.
We wanted to time the move to 0.11.0 along with our move to Visual Studio
2010, because we're going to do some heavy regression testing at that
point. If you asked me a week ago if I wanted a 0.11.0 "now", I'd say yes,
but now moving to Visual Studio 2010 was delayed a bit. Still, you
probably will get 0.11.0 tested in a few weeks time.

Comment:
We do not provide any binaries or libraries directly. We just release the
source code. The distribution of binaries or compiled libraries is done by
the package maintainers (Linux) or the customers itself.
We do not distribute libraries from other vendors because this is a single
Open Source project and not a platform project which creates a complete
software stack.

#73: 0.11.0beta5 compilation error on Visual C++
-----------------------+----------------------
Reporter: boazy | Owner: somebody
Type: issue | Status: new
Priority: important | Milestone: 0.11.0
Component: wbxml2 | Version:
Severity: serious | Keywords:
-----------------------+----------------------
0.11.0beta5 cause two compilation errors on VC++2010 (and they will
probably be raised on all Visual C++ compilers).
The first error comes from using strncasecmp() (which exists only on *NIX
compilers), and even if you would replace it with _strnicmp(), VC++ still
needs an explicit cast from (const WB_UTINY*) to (const WB_TINY*).
Ideally, you could use a macro for that, like the one WBXML_STRCASECMP
which is already defined in wbxml_defines.h.
The second error, comes from declaring a variable in the middle of the
function, which VC++ doesn't like when it's in C mode.
I've attached a patch that should solve both of these errors.

The secret of code 225 seems to be: Disconnect and reconnect your remote

You will receive that alert as consequence, if your last synchronization
didn't complete successfully.
So the severity of this is certainly less than critical.

I poked around a little, but found no other work around than to disable
that assertion.
My phone is sending parent uris for messages and bookmarks. They will be
ignored with my patch.
For messages those parents make no sense anyway. For bookmarks the
directory nesting will be lost. It's good enough for reading from the
phone. Of course there's no hope for 2-way syncs here.
