I think the general idea here is to detect the situation when the phone =20
is in nearby and ready to sync, and start syncing at PC. How to detect =20
it? It depends on how the phone is connected.

You noticed, that the phone is connected through Wifi/3G. Fairly, I =20
don't know anything about it. But at worst case you can test by pinging.
