All, I've checked the wiki and can't seem to find what might be happeneing with my timezones. Both my laptop and ipaq are set to using America/Regina for timezones. Basically I copied the same Regina file to both the ipaq's /etc/localtime and laptops /etc/localtime file. They also sync to the same time server when on the network. They both have the same time exactly but when syncing data, the ipaq has my calendar entries 6 hours different: Laptop: 8:00AM - 5:00PM Ipaq: 2:00PM - 11:00PM the America/Regina time zone is listed as GMT-6 so I kind of understand where the 6 hour difference comes from ... I just dont understand how both machines being in the same timezone, using the same /etc/localtime file, and displaying the exact same time (command line and from within aplications) would maintain the 6 hour difference? Is it possible I mangled a setting somewhere or messed up my config on either end? Thanks in advance :) Lonny -- "The glass is neither half empty nor half full ... it is twice as big as it needs to be" |
