This should be fixed in a general way and not only in the IrMC-sync plugin. 
This is likely to affect also other plugins like syncml plugin. Hopefully we 
can enhance the filter in the devel-branch to filter specific content (like 
images) out and store this in the archive. After syncing such a filtered 
entry back .. merge the the filtered content back.

Daniel, what do you think? Should this be done with capabilities, filtering or 
are both possible? I don't mean only to "filter" unsupported stuff from the 
capabilities. I mean also avoid syncing of special fields like images, also 
if they are supported.

Dirk, feel free to file a enhancement ticket for this against version 0.30.
