In the next days I will try to reproduce the errors and post more  
informations.

The open problem is why after syncronizing only the Date Book I can not  
see in Evolution the records from my Palm?

Actually the evolution2 plugin doesn't support syncing of Memos yet. If you
like you can create a ticket for this missing feature for the upcoming
version 0.20. I will try to reproduce the segmentation fault, if you still
can reproduce the segfault please enable OSYNC_TRACE and OSYNC_PRIVACY
(detailed describtion can be found in the wiki - keyword: tracing) and  
create
a new bug ticket and attach the trace files.

So far i would suggested to disable syncing of memos:

msynctool --sync palm-evol2 --filter-objtype note
