While waiting for approval of the original message, I tried the reverse sync: 

I deleted the vcf-file and created an adressbook-entry on the pda. Syncing 
this entry to the pc works just fine...

Maybe this points somewhere?

Attached are the transmissions of the two cases. As you can see, in the above 
case the vcf is send in the other case there is nothing. So I'm guessing the 
error is on the server-side...
