Hi Armin,

I hope, I'm not bothering you too much with my P800-problems...

I managed to sort out some things in the process of syncing the
calendar.
I got a fresh evolution with just one entry in the calendar, wiped out
everything on the phone and went ahead.

The sync still fails, the phone replies with Error 500, which seems to
be a quite general error.
I looked a bit in the logs, and the phone replies to the Add command
with Error 500.
So, I googled a bit around, and found a page, where someone implemented
a syncml-server specially for the p800. This guy wrote in his "ToDo",
that the phone answers with Error 500 to his Add commands, too.
But his server seems to be thought as a backup-solution.

Logs are attached, maybe you see something that I can't see...


Well, actually I'm looking into buying this XDA mini S, which O2 here in
Germany offers. But I'm not quite sure, yet. Windows Mobile 5 changed
its syncing-stuff, so that isn't working under linux either. But I would
then try a SyncML Client program [1] on that device, so I still be in
the "SyncML boat".

[1] from funambol.com , which offers a server-implementation, too. I
tried that one out with my P800, which worked fine, but I did not do any
Adds to the Device, maybe I'll try that later...
