I'm in the same situation with my P800.

We (Armin and I) did a bit of testing and research. First we played with
AT commands to the phone, to see if there is a possibility to turn over
the "modem-channel" to an obex-session, which is not supported by my
phone.
The way to go here is to establish a ppp-link between phone and pc and
over that connection use the syncml-http-server and fire up the
sync-application on the phone (it is a symbian-os based phone).
But, could be a lot different with your phone...
