Still experimenting with the syncml plugin. My pieces are an Athlon64-based PC, Fedora4-x86_64 and an Motorola Razr V3 phone. The Motorola phone syncs perfectly with ScheduleWorld, so it can't be that bad (?). ScheduleWorld uses sync4j. I have successfully downloaded, configured and compiled opensync, multisync, evoltion2 and syncml. After some fighting I have also been able to create a libsyncml which uses wbxml2. When trying to sync, I get the following log at the command line: ---------------------------------------- Received a entry 200...@he... with data of size 8 from member 1. Changetype ADDED [cut, there are many of these] Member 1 of type evo2-sync just sent all changes Member 2 of type syncml-http-server had an error while getting changes: Timeout while waiting for a reply to message "GET_CHANGES" Member 2 of type syncml-http-server had an error while disconnecting: No status/command available Member 1 of type evo2-sync just disconnected All clients have disconnected The sync failed: Unable to read from one of the members -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The log in the phone just says. "Servern svarade inte" - that is, "No reply from server" in Swedish. I have of course logs, big logs. In I don't really understand them, but I think that the plugin has received and successfully decoded the wbxml stuff from the phone... In order to handle the big logs (too big for this kind of message) I've filed a new ticket 113 basically with this text and the logs as attachments. Thanks for any help... -- michael -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Kolmodin |
