Armin,

thanks for the fast update, the syncml plugin is now showing up fine on 
"msynctool --listplugins", but another problem comes up:
The other syncmember ist kdepim. When starting up "msynctool --sync syncml 
--wait", I'll get on the console:

Synchronizing group "syncml"
Error while initializing syncengine: Missing database name

The trace file contains:

Armin, since you don't have a syncml device, I'd volunteer to take the testing 
part for this.
