OK thanks for that, shame about Barry and Opensync, but I guess as
Blackberry themselves fall from favour so does the itch to develop
something to support them.

Yep, playbook counts as a newer device, sadly.

It would be "ubuntu1204" without the period, if you wanted to try
installing.

Note that the playbook can share its files via samba, so that might
be the best way to do simple backups.  Barry won't be able to help you.
