It is possible to disable convertors completely. But not just (converter) detectors, at least not yet. Not quite sure about any drawbacks. You might give it a try by introducing a switch enabling/disabling just (converter) detectors. Maybe it would be also interesting to make the OSyncFormatEnv per group configurable. So you can white-/blacklist which convertors/detectors should get prefered or shouldn't be used at all. Do you think this might help? Also in terms of getting things working kind of "out-of-the-box"?
