I'm just beginning to move opensync into git, and I'm working on a
git repo called "binary-meta" that creates binary packages for the
library and plugins in-place, without having to install opensync itself
as a dependency.

It is still a work in progress.  I think I'm the only one working on
opensync itself right now, but I would like it if developers followed my
git repo instead of SVN.  I'd like it if developers would create
their own git repos as well, and then we can pass around patches and
changes that way.

Including your ruby work, if git is your thing. :-)  I don't know what
source control you are most comfortable with.
