hi, thanks, this was the blocking issue

unfortunately I couldn't edit this field on the phone. it was not visible there, so I've just deleted the entry and I was able to sync my contatcs to akonadi.
May be some of the other "cool" sync applications did this to the GEO field. no idea

my next goal would be to handle this with kdepim.

I can not read the calendar from the phone :-( but this is another topic. I'll post my findings in the akonadi thread.
