Actually I'm still using kde 3.5 but I'm in the process of testing kde 4.4 and migrating custom software that I'm using for business. The deadline is by the end of September to get a working env on the desktop/notebook. and maybe in few weeks I'll have a server with kde4.4. So probably in 2 weeks I'll be ready to start. Until then evaluating. http://pim.kde.org/akonadi seem to be a good starting point > > If you prefer to start with something else, Chris will tell > you to continue to > port the broken plugins. > On my side I am hacking on kitchensync and its > libqopensync, but more on that > later. Thanks I'll have look around, set up an environment and come to you later. Your current e-mail was very helpful as I need guidance where to start. May be akonadi is a good point and task. regards |
