First of all, I see that the pace of development has quickened, going by the timeline: http://www.opensync.org/timeline So, congratulations on resuming regular development! I have seen the Device Compatibility List but I understand it to be outdated, refer to an old branch (0.2x) and unmaintained. Therefore I ask: My mobile provider is giving me the oportunity to upgrade to one of the following devices: Nokia n85 Nokia n97 Sony-Erickson w995 I need to sync contacts and calendar with the KDE-PIM suite (KDE 4.4 soon, with the new Kaddressbook and Akonadi). The language is not ascii based, so it will need to support unicode characters. Which device is preferable for syncing? I can wait a few weeks for the 0.4x branch to stabilize, but I must know which device is preferable. Thanks. An aside: if anybody here owns the N85 or N97 I would like to ask some questions about the phone off-list. Please contact me off-list if I can bother you with some questions. Thanks. -- Dotan Cohen http://what-is-what.com http://gibberish.co.il Please CC me if you want to be sure that I read your message. I do not read all list mail. |
