I am only a small contributor and I cannot speak for the project leads, however my guess is that the main problem is that there is no one working on the project who has the time available to take up the bounty offer. The main thing the project needs is to get some more developer-hours applied. The basic engine still has some problems at the moment and, in some cases, there are ideas about how to fix them but still work to do (certainly true in my case). And we haven't started any serious testing yet! I do not want to minimise, of course, the strong contributions made by the existing team. But if no one from the existing OpenSync community steps up, you may want to look at whether you could use your bounty to attract one or more new developers to join the project. Graham |
