Sorry for the late reply.

The resources were not defined in the opie-sync configuration as required. I 
have just fixed the file in OpenSync SVN to have the right definitions, so it 
should at least discover correctly. Unfortunately there are other issues past 
that point which I am working on at the moment.

To fix your setup after updating to latest SVN either create a new group, or 
edit your opie configuration and copy and paste in the <Resources> section from 
the plugins/opie-sync/opie-sync file.
