Thank you for taking your time to answer and ask.
Maybe a silly question but why not bluetooth? It's much more
convenient than USB and IrDA and works more reliably (from my
experience). I have been successfully synchronizing k800i (bluetooth)
with various Nokias series40 (usb, gnokii plugin).
The notebook I have does not have a bluetooth and I don't want BT because the radiation as well as wireless radiation is not very healthy. I mean I can buy a BT-dongle but WHY should I do this, when in Windows I can sync over IR. This same thing should be possible with Linux.
The most embarassing thing is that I can connect over IR with wammu and do anything I want, but syncml or opensync can not really sync the stuff.
This is the real trouble. I don't think it is a low level issue as the connection works fine.
So I need a way to debug and make opensync work.
