Two years ago I gave up my Palm III and used a Siemens S55. I was very lucky to sync everything with those devices. Then the Siemens got phisically broken and I replaced it with Nokia 6021. From my employer I've got a SE K750i and a notebook with IR. So now year after I'm kinda "downgraded" because I have a mess of unsynced data.

I was planning to talk to my boss to purchaise a new phone or to buy myself one but want to know which model works for 100%.

So do all the symbian phones sync wihtout problems OVER IR?

thanks to you both for taking your time to contribute to the discussion because I can not stand this situation I have for so long.
I've tried kde-pim because at least with the SE K750i the sync starts but fails in the middle, but again no one helps, so thanks a lot.

Note that those are Symbian phones, and none of the Nokias that the OP
mentioned are Symbian. The 6288 (and possibly others) supports SyncML,
so should that be enough to sync with KDE PIM?
