Hello, Rainer, I'm sorry to mix up into this discussion, but I don't think your answer is an answer of the question that was if you know which of those phones are well supported by linux. I'm writing this, because I have the same problem. I wrote this and no one helped and somebody told me to install opensync 0.21, but still no of my phones is working and I still DO NOT have an answer which phone is recommended to by. I have Nokia 6021 and SE K750i and I want to sync them over IRDA and this seems to be impossible ... Unfortunately no one helps and the answers I get are pretty general like yours. Could you please be more specific? What Phone/Model do you have and how are you syncing this (USB/BT/IR)? Thanks in advance and kind regards Rainer Dorsch <rd...@we...> wrote: Hello, I have no direct answer to your question, but for Debian etch you can get version 0.22 from #opensync deb http://opensync.gforge.punktart.de/repo/opensync-0.21/ etch main deb-src http://opensync.gforge.punktart.de/repo/opensync-0.21/ etch main This might work for more phones than version 0.19.
