The important question is what to you want to do? OpenSync is a synchronization engine where OpenSync (here the msynctool) is the master. So you run two masters and wonder why this does not work ;) If I understand your use case correctly then PC-1 is the place were the sync master should run and you have three clients - the mobile, PC-2 and the file system of PC-1. You can synchronize in three ways: 1. all stuff handled by OpenSync - msynctool on PC-1 - file-sync plugin (for fs of PC-1) - syncml-plugin for the mobile - syncml-http-plugin for PC-2 - syncml client like funambol on PC-2 2. conventional setup - msynctool on PC-1 - file-sync plugin (for fs of PC-1) - syncml-plugin for the mobile - rsync between PC-1 and PC-2 PC-2 looks for me like a normal client and PC-1 looks like the real sync master.
