thank you for your interest in OpenSubsystems and I apologize for late

for the benefit of others. Regarding building OpenInventory. We have not 
released an official package but the version in CVS is fully buildable. 
In last few weeks I have been doing lots of changes in the code due to 
the upcoming release of OpenPatterns so the CVS was little unstable at 
times but now everything builds and all the JUnit tests pass. First 
download the source code from CVS:

and then you can use the steps described in

http://www.opensubsystems.org/buildprocess.html

to build OpenInventory using ant build file build-inventory.xml
This should created new directory in

\Development\OpenSubsystems\generated\inventory\distribution

with all the required libraries that you have to use in your 
application. The next step is to look at generated JavaDoc in

\Development\OpenSubsystems\generated\security\docs

especially at the data model in package

org.opensubsystems.inventory.data

and in

org.opensubsystems.inventory.logic

In general you should use controllers to exercise functionality provided 
by the OpenInventory and the data model. This should give you hint how 
to use the controllers

The code in CVS is slightly different than what the documentation says 
but please feel free to post to the mailing list and I will help you

something please feel free to post to the mailing list and I will reply.

nejake  zmeny  pre dalsi release a tak sa niektore veci z externals odstranili a
vyuzivaju  sa inde. Cize napr JTA uz teraz nie je a je to nahradene z Geronima -
cize  v  externals  pribudol  geronimo.  Taktiez oracle tam nie je - tieto zmeny
classpath  su  zaznamenane  v  .classpath subore, cize si ho musis aktualizovat.
Taktiez  problemy  moze  robit  aj  to,  ze ak mas v jetty launcherovi nastavene
spustanie aplikacie na web, tak si musis tiez aktualizovat menu Run -> Classpath
prislusne  subory  -  cize  tie  co  sa  uz  nevyuzivaju  tak odtial vymazat tie
referencie a ak nejake chybaju, tak ich tu pridat.
   Potom  by  to  uz  malo  fungovat  bez  problemov.  Ak budes s tym mat nejaky
problem, tak daj vediet.
