hout the new process running correctly on more platforms then the old proce=
ss I think it will cause users (including myself) a number of problems.  At=
 a minimum, the new process should work with a RedHat EL3.0, Ubuntu, and Cy=
gwin base installs, without upgrading any packages. Currently there are sti=
ll unresolved build problems on a base RHEL3.0 system. Does this sound OK t=
o you? If you'd like I can push back the release date a little longer but I=
