However, I'm not a big fan of forking 'because I can' unless there's really a lot of pressure to do so. This is certainly currently not the case, as they are just getting started. I'd have a look at how the project works, how it gains momentum, what features it brings and how easy it is to submit patches. It's certainly easier to support one codebase than two that have once been very similar... I'm curious and certainly will have a look. Download (from sourceforge) is running. (currently it's been downloaded 17 times) The site can be found on http://www.webload.org/, in certain parts it's a bit unfinished, but well polished and seems to contain a lot of material. My impression is that this tool is backed by some huge commercial interest, and one can only hope that they have more success than the Cyrano folks opensourcing their product.
