Category: Script Language Group: Behavioral Status: Open >Resolution: Accepted Priority: 5 Submitted By: Daniel Sutcliffe (dansut) Assigned to: Daniel Sutcliffe (dansut) Summary: SEED for REPEATABLE RANDOM variables is ignored Initial Comment: The ability to specifiy a SEED value to variables specified as REPEATABLE RANDOM is intended to give the possibility of different repeatable psuedo random sequences being attainable from the same set of possible results. In the OpenSTA 1.4.3 release, and probably all other 1.x releases up to this one, the specified SEED is ignored completely and the same repeatable sequence is created whatever value is specified. There is no real workaround for this issue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=110857&aid=1406872&group_id=10857 |
