You certainly can, but that's not what we're talking about when we
say the 2000 Platform SDK.  What is actually referred to is the
Platform SDK the Microsoft released in July 2000, with all its bugs
and peculiarities ;-)

Selecting the build environment from the 2003 Platform SDK menus
simply sets up environment variables for library/include PATHs, etc.
And you shouldn't notice any difference (problems) with OpenSTA if
you select any of the 32 bit retail environments.  Don't ask me what
happens if you select any of the 64 bit environments - I don't know,
but I bet it isn't pretty :-)
