I thought I'd been very careful about testing this - obviously not
careful enough. Can this be reproduced by simply uploading a text
file over 64K in length?
I guess I need to get my test cases out.o
This is upsetting because it makes my fix a bit of a no-fix if it
loses a byte every 64K :-(

It's either a matter of making a new issue or I'll re-open bug#637865
which is the fix where I inevitably introduced this...
