Hello. We use OpenSTA v 1.4.4. We have 2 test environments: 1. Non-clustered, and using NTLM 2. Clustered, and using Kerberos (Negotiate) - where load testing will be conducted All web servers are Windows 2003 Server. In the non-clustered env, we could record successfully. We need to manually edit the script, though, for the NTLM change-response authentication. But the script works, no problem with that. However, in a non-clustered env, we get the 401 Unauthorized status most of the time during the recording of the scripts. And afterwards, we would also be getting this when we access the web app using just the browser (without OpenSTA recording). After leaving the machine idle for a few minutes, it returns back to normal. We could actually record successfully sometimes. But most of the time, it's unsuccessful. Nevertheless, a complete script usually gets the Unauthorized status when ran. So we can't proceed with our load testing because we're not sure if the error is caused by incorrect scripting or by OpenSTA itself. Does any of you know why this happens? Is this because of the clustering or the Kerberos? Or both? Regards, Gary Concepcion |
