    Dear All,

I have the same problem but on AIX 5.1 ML3.
The installation of OpenSSH was successful (and SSL also).
On the end of the installation it shows that sshd is
started on PID xxxxx, but after seeing lssrc -g ssh, it
    shows that sshd is inoperatable.

Please run "odmget -q "subsysname = sshd" SRCsubsys" and verify the line for "cmdargs" has "-D" in it. That flag prevents sshd from daemonizing and remains under SRC control.
