I noticed that I get a timeout of about 100 seconds during Send if the SMTP server cannot be connected. The documentation says that the default is 10 seconds. I tried to set the timeout manually (both SendTimeout and ReceiveTimeout) but the results are the same. Any idea how I can create a timeout shorter than 100 seconds?
