Hi, I see a problem with handling interfaces with OpenSLP when the interface list is empty? Currently slpd busy loops around forever in select() which returns an error (EBADFD). Should we support SLP on stand alone machines (for eg, a home PC without a dialup link established)? I have a patch which calls SLPFatal() if no valid interface is found. However, I don't think that's a good idea. Service location for services on the local machine should succeed even if there is no network interface up. How do we handle this correctly?
