#7 Many users/students, same username

hi all,

I'm on the Sept 23, 09 release [mysql version.] i.e. Opensis version 4.5.01 stable.

I realize that I can register several users and students with the same username and still see "USERNAME OK", not
"USERNAME ALREADY TAKEN".

I also realize that if the users have different passwords, each can login OK. I've gone through ajaxload.js and validator.php but couldn't fix it,

Any help? I don't want a username be used more than once.
