Hosted Services Support

At the current time, functions, triggers and procedures in MySQL need to be installed using custom privileges. This is a MySQL flaw and something most hosting groups are not willing to adjusts in order to get openSIS installed. We have identified this issue and we are going to rewrite those "procedures" into our PHP code. Thanks to our Friends at Moodle we will be using adoDB so help solve the problem.

Launch of openSIS on Source Forge

This Week (june 26 -July 3 2009) we have moved openSIS over to Sourceforge. This move is in line with our basic resolution to have an open, transparent development and delivery system. We hope that our friends find this a step in the right direction and that those just getting to know us, enjoy what they find . Our goal as always is to produce a free and open Student Information System so that students, the world over, may have the benefit of complete and accurate school records and achievements.
