Just starting out with OpenSIPS and I could use a little help. I have built OpenSIPS 1.6.4 from source on an Ubuntu 10.04 server. When issuing the opensipsctl ul show command I am getting the following errors:
-e \E[37;31mERROR: Error opening OpenSIPS's FIFO /tmp/opensips_fifo
-e \E[37;31mERROR: Make sure you have the line 'modparam("mi_fifo", "fifo_name", "/tmp/opensips_fifo")' in your config
-e \E[37;31mERROR: and also have loaded the mi_fifo module.
I have confirmed that the mi_fifo module is loaded and the opensips.cfg file contains the line modparam("mi_fifo", "fifo_name", "/tmp/opensips_fifo") and it is uncommented.
If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.
And after opensips starts (with success), could you check if the /tmp/opensips_fifo file really exists on your file system ?
