Reading the RFC3261, the SIP syntax, UTF8 chars are not allowed in a SIP username. Based on that, I would say it makes no sense to have escaped UTF8 chars in there, as time as the char is not allowed - as after un-escaping, you will get a non-valid username....but it is a matter of logic
