I've got a few things going for the development of OpenSL right now:
-ChupaDiske (aka influenz) has done some work over the last few months (See http://www.sharelive.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=594&view=findpost&p=5813 and http://www.sharelive.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=594&view=findpost&p=5818 )
-My personal schedule is normalizing, so I can more eaisly give time to the project.
-I think I might be able to solve most of the missing file issues with an archive of the site I have from a while ago.... read more

(just because its a tarball doesn't mean it's any better than CVS. I am just doing these pre-alpha tarballs for the convenience of our users.... read more

CVS is now in full use (thanks to stealthspy), so you can always get the latest (within 5 hours) code easily.
I put together a temporary Home Page, with some basic info and links.

I ask that you use the Tracker (for Bugs, Support, Patches, and RFE) as opposed to using the SL Mainsite forum, if possible.
I suggest that you DO use the SL Mainsite forum (as opposed to the Forums here on the SF project) for anything that doesn't fall under one of the trackers.
You can use the SF Forums, but many more would read it if you posted at the SL one. Perhaps later we will make the switch.... read more

Unfortunately we have had to withdraw Boogle from the opensharelive project, as the original author has indicated that it is not a submodule of sharelive, and he does not wish the code to be open sourced.

Hi all. Boogle (the BitTorrent spider element of ShareLive) has now been released.

Note this is software in development, expect shoddy documentation and bugs.

However, it does work for us :)
