Kamailio (OpenSER) v1.4.2 is out - a minor release of the branch 1.4 - configuration file and database compatibility is preserved.
This release is based on the latest version of the branch 1.4, including many bugfixes in code and documentation,
therefore those running 1.4.1 are advised to upgrade.

Starting with 4th of July, OpenSER project started to receive donations from the community. The founds are to be used to administrating the project resources (like server hosting) or to sponsor event dedicated to the community (like OpenSER Summit).
May 23, 2007 - new stable version released as 1.2.1. This a minor release from the 1.2 familly, featuring only bug fixes. For more information see the official page of the project at http://www.openser.org
Time for a new major release arrived. It happened to be again about 8 months since the last major release, with about 6.5 months of development and 1.5 if extensive testing. This version brings a lot of new features and improvements to existing code. Can be defined as the biggest improvement between releases so far.
Starting with Feb 26, 2007, OpenSER projects uses SourceForge's SVN. Old CVS repository will be kept for a while as read-only -- no new commits will be applied there.
