    I'm running opensearchserver 1.4.
I have several web sites in my index.
I can boost a host for specific keywords, but I'd like to boost a specific host for all the keywords.

Is it possible to do that ?

    Hi Laurent,

I am new to opensearchserver and was wondering if you found a solution to boosting a specific host for all keywords?

Also, how were you able to boost a host for specific keywords? I have tried going to the Boosting queries tab and adding host:(somekeyword) but I am fairly certain that is neither working nor is it what I really want to do.

For anyone who is interested - I found out how to boost a host for any query keyword:

    • Query template
    • Boosting queries
    • In the Query field, type host:""
      • (make sure it matches the hostname in Crawler->Hostnames)
    • Boost: insert some large number such as 1000
    • Add this query

Run your query again and you will see the host you are interested in has been boosted.
I'm a little confused as to why the boost has to be so big but perhaps that is because I haven't looked at the score too closely.

Thank you for the clarification and for the feature request that you made! I am fairly new to the dev world and am mostly picking things up as I go. Sorry I didn't check the feature requests more closely before posting the question.
      Thanks again for your help!
