#193 Text snippets with tags lost in all documentation

This is not about a bug in the OSS code but a related and very serious issue. It seems that all example text snippets with tags (< >) have been lost in all discussion threads and tickets! Sometimes you can see them by inspecting the source code:

but in most cases they're all gone:

That makes it very hard to read up on how to set up OSS!
